Accufuser Saturation Catheter Kit
Moog’s Saturation Catheter is a fenestrated catheter, containing a pattern of tiny holes around its circumference supplying superior medication distribution directly to the infusion area.
The Saturation Catheter is fenestrated, containing a pattern of tiny holes around its circumference, supplying superior distribution to the infusion area. The catheter is inserted and a disposable ambulatory pump is connected. The catheter then bathes the infusion site with continuous local anesthetic, antibiotics, or chemotherapy agents. Upon conclusion of the therapy, the catheter removes easily.
Features of Saturation Catheter
• Fenestrated:
Designed with a pattern of tiny holes to deliver uniform medication coverage around the infusion area.
• Reinforced with stainless steel coils:
Helps prevent collapse of the catheter during infusion.
• Available in multiple lengths:
Breadth of line includes 6.4 cm, 12.7cm, and 25.4cm lengths to ensure a match to patient and therapeutic needs. Shorter lengths are generally used for small incisions, subcutaneous placement, and placement near nerve bundles. Longer catheters are generally used for large incisions and deep fascia, sub-muscular or tunneled placements.
• Single or dual catheters:
Available in either a single design or a dual configuration with “Y” connector to treat one or two surgical sites.
• Tip and depth marks:
5 mL markers allow identification and monitoring of tip and catheter infusion status.
• Radiopaque:
Visible on x-ray if necessary.
• Universal hub:
Pre-connected hub connects to most standard male luers for secure and safe fitting.
